Just wishing my mother the happiest birthday ever. This year I did a little something different. Instead of getting her something meaningless, or something that she doesn’t really need/super expensive, I went the charity route.
She’s always talking about sponsering a child, so this year, I signed up for Because I Am A Girl, and sponsered a child. It’s still under my name, but I’ll switch it over eventually. I’m very excited for this, and hopefully it’ll give her something to fill the empty nest with.
I gave it to her last night, and she loved it! She’s so excited. Sponsering a little girl in China. So cute!
