Happy Halloween everyone!
Alright, so it’s a little premature, but I can’t hold it in any longer. Halloween is my favourite holiday, even though we don’t have the day off [as much as I wish we did]. It was nice because I finally was able to get Andrew out of the house for a night on the town.
It was a fairly small group of us, and we originally planned on going to Gravity Soundbar. But because we all are procrastinators, we left it to the last minute and could not get the tickets required to get in. So what do we do? Obviously go to our fave spot, Velvet Underground. Cheap and good crowd.
And it delivered. While it was the most we’ve ever spent at Velvet, it was still cheaper than the tickets and drinks at any other club that night. And even with the cheap drinks, 5 bucks for my drink. Excellent. My kind of night. And it’s exciting because Andrew was able to meet the guys that we hang out with down there too. I got some good dancing in, saw some awesome costumes, and got hit on quite a bit. It’s not really saying anything when you see my costume, but it was a lot of fun wearing what I did. Even though I froze my bum off afterward because we couldn’t find a cab to save our lives. We did eventually hop on the streetcar and made it home.

The night was way later than we all expected, but it was definitely such a great night. And I was happy that I was able to go out with Andrew, for once.
