This weekend we spent it in the sunshine around the pool. Except at some points, not with a lot of sun.
Every year, Kelsey throws a pool party and last year I got ridiculously drunk, actually went in the pool and had a glorious time.
This year, it was far to cold for me to actually go in the water so I stayed on the outside this time. I had one shot, and no other alcohol and was actually starving the entire time. Andrew even made it out for this, even though he did have to work that night, so we didn’t stay very long. Which was alright since I did want to get some things done. *cough* Ugly Betty.
While it’s just not the same when you have a pool party and it’s a bit chilly, good friends and good food usually make up for it.
