How do you display pictures? Do you even do it any more with the age of digital?
I’m definitely a contradiction. As much I have both feet firmly in the digital age, connected to pretty much every type of technology and social network you can probably think of, I have half of my mind in the past. I am extremely old school when it comes to certain things – writing, photos, and appointments.
Something that I want to bring back into my life is scrapbooking. I used to be so on top of my scrapbooking game, although I never went all out, I was at least good at getting them into my binders and labeling them all.
But somewhere along the line, [probably with the introduction of the Internet], I fell off the bandwagon. [If I want to look into it closely, I can probably note that all of my “falling off the bandwagon” is due to the Internet… food for some thought]. I’m the type of person that when I get so far behind, I almost justify it by saying that it’ll take to long to catch up, so why bother? Except… It’s something that I really enjoy doing! What a shame.
So, this winter, I’m taking it upon myself to jump back onto this bandwagon. I have so much to organize and post pictures about, I want to make it something special to look back on. Hard copies of something sometimes is so much better than just having a digital copy. On a slightly different note, I’m going to have to figure out something better than the system I’m using right now, especially since I can’t find the adorable binders I’m using anymore!
