Friday :: The Start of December

Via Tumblr/Kinfolk Magazine

Ah, Friday. And the end of November. I can’t believe that it’s December tomorrow! I feel like I should wake up in the morning and have my apartment magically decorated. If only, right?
Sadly that’s not what happens, but I’ve been scoping out other blogs and of course, Pinterest for some decorating inspiration. Maybe this year I’ll actually get some done?
Although this weekend will be completely devoted to cooking, homework, and lazing the entire Sunday in bed/the apartment, I will have to be a little productive and aim to get some things done. Aka, Andrew’s Christmas present. Maybe even some DIY stuffs for the apartment. By the time I get those done it’ll be time for them to be packed up and moving again. But that shouldn’t stop me!

I’m hoping to get some December/holiday/Christmas inspired posts in the next month, but to get me pumped up, here are some things from around the bloggy-world to help me get started!

Things that I liked this week:
– How about getting ready for some Christmas baking? The Brown Eyed Baker has a slew of delicious recipes just waiting to be made. I have my eye on the baked french toast.. mm.

– I’m not even a big fan of aztec print, but I think I would cave for this sweater. It’s amazing and looks perfect for cottage nights curled up with Andrew and hot chocolate.
– This cake looks amazing, via Joy the Baker

– That cake with this cup of chai tea via A Beautiful Mess = perfection.

This will be the first year that I’m older and looking forward to winter. Until I step outside, of course.
