In other exciting news, Andrew and I are expecting bambino number 2!!
Andrew and I always were on the same page with the fact that we were going to have two children (naturally, if it was meant to be). I knew that I didn’t want to resort to IVF or the like (not that there’s anything wrong with that, just knew it wasn’t for me) in order to have another, so Andrew and I decided to just start trying again.
I waited until after my fantastic girls’ bachelorette weekend (since I wanted to drink) and then we started trying to not try. Honestly, did not expect to conceive as fast as we did. I wanted Kaiden and his sibling to be at least 2 years apart (give or take) and I got exactly that.
I’m due in mid-June, just a month after Kaiden was due. It’s very exciting because like with Kaiden, we have a bunch of friends who are also due around that time – baby city again! I am so looking forward to this summer of just chilling with these ladies while our kids play at the park.
This past weekend we did a little gender reveal, so if you follow me on any social site you’ll most likely have seen it! We are expecting another little boy. I think there’s a little bit of disappointment on the grandmothers’ parts that it’s not going to be a girl (Grandpa has already said, well gotta try for the third – which is NOT happening) but overall just happy to have another grandkid.
It was pretty low-key and awesome. Just nice to share the news with family and a few close friends. We ate some really good
