Finally, I have another skin care line. My face just was not loving FAB any more, and my skin was paying the price. I wash my face regularly, and there was no improvement. It was almost like my face was getting worse, not better.
I did contemplate getting the Philosophy skin care line “Clear Day’s Ahead” but decided that The Body Shop’s was way more accessible, and it ended up being cheaper. Pretty much used it immediately, I was so excited to try it out.
So far I’m really enjoying it. It doesn’t lather up a whole lot, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t get the face clean. Immediately you feel it tightening up your skin, and it feels so refreshed. I definitely noticed an immediate change in my skin. It feels so much better, and it looks better, although the acne isn’t completely gone. I can’t complain only having it a couple days. I enjoy having a 3 step program that compliments each other again. The toner is nice, and cool that you have to shake it before use. It is quite mild, but you can definitely feel it cooling the skin, and closing the pores. The cream is super smooth, and you don’t need a lot for your whole face.
The only downside to this cleanser is the smell! It smells really strong, and it’s not the best scent ever. It’s livable, especially if it clears up my face. They have another skin clearing line, that looks good too. So we’ll see!
I also decided to pick up the exfoliating pads, because my skin seems to love them. And nothing but them seem to really clean out my pores. And they’re nice, definitely gentler than the Bliss pads. I shall see if they are actually doing anything. I was able to get the face wash and toner full size and the cream came free.
And just because everything was on sale in the store, I picked up another hand cream. I needed one for my other purse, and this one was 50% off. Helps make nails strong, and smells awesome. Thank you! I’ll take it! I was originally going to get the trial pack that came with this one, the hemp hand protector, and a rose one, but for the price of three I could get the full size one. And after smelling them, I didn’t really like the rose one. Definitely will need this in the coming months as the weather starts cooling down!
It doesn’t seem like a lot, but it’s all things that I needed, and I was super tempted to get a foot scrub gift set (on sale!) but I resisted. Definitely for the better.
