So this review is a little behind, but I went into Shopper’s one day, and decided that I would expand my Soap & Glory ownership. They have some interesting items, and I decided to do a little bit of a splurge.
I picked up a body scrub, and a thigh cream. No time like the present to start worrying about cellulite!
Scrub ’em and leave ’em body scrub: I love scrubs. I’m addicted to them, and I’m always trying to make my skin look brighter and nicer. It’s actually quite nice, and really works. Smells great, it’s a floraly scent, which is shocking that I like it, but I think because it has vanilla I’m alright with it. As you can tell I’ve used quite a bit of it, and it makes my legs feels amazingly smooth. I don’t know if this would be a repurchase for me, as I wouldn’t mind trying a Body Shop one… or a different Lush one… So I’ll have to see. The only other thing is that it does make the tub quite slippery… So you have to be careful!
Slimwear thigh cream: This is interesting.. I have no idea if it’s working. It has a great peppermint smell and definitely feels nice on the legs, but I don’t know if it’s helping with toning/cellulite. I’ll continue using it, and working out and we’ll see. But it’s quite nice smelling. And really cooling on the legs. I doubt that I’ll be repurchasing this, as it’s a bit expensive for something that probably isn’t working.
It was good to finally try them out, but so far I’m not super wowed by anything. I think I might stick to me just exercising to tone and help with cellulite…
