This is something that I would buy again, but I’m not going to because I’m still on the quest to find the “best” one. My test for make up removers is how well it removes Benefit’s They’re Real mascara. This actually wasn’t to bad at that. It was much better than other removers I’ve had in the past, but it still leaves trace amounts of residue.
I typically remove majority of my eye make-up, wash my face, and have to do a little bit of touch up underneath my eye again. My lashes love mascara and hold on to it like it’s life depended on it. I don’t know about anyone else, but They’re Real is a complete bitch of a mascara to take off. I don’t use it every day due to that reason, but on the special occasion I do use it, and I would like it to come in a reasonable amount of time.
A note more on topic, the scent. It’s rather light, but when I’m applying it to my eye, I always smell like eggnog. It’s a nice scent, but a little bit random. Might just be my nose though. If anyone else who has used this can confirm that’d be awesome!
I would recommend this for anyone who doesn’t want to break the bank, and doesn’t wear a lot of eye make-up. The bottle lasts around 3 months, and I’ve been using it practically every day. It costs about $6 CDN, so cost wise it is definitely worth it.
