Ok, so this was kind of a splurge buy. I was at the spa one day and saw these, and LOVED the pink colour. I thought, why not get the mini bottles? It’s not such a big loss if you don’t like the rest of them.
I actually tried the blue [Into the Night] first, and it’s a gorgeous colour. Deep blue, with a purple undertone when the sun hits it. Like all OPI nailpolishes, these went on super evenly and easy. Great colour saturation, I only needed two coats, and that’s because my nails are still shit right now. Thankfully, they’ve almost grown out, and then I will be back to have smooth, strong nails. Note to self: Prolonged use of shellac makes nails brittle and weak!
Then I tried the pink [My Web or Yours?], and it makes my nails feel like they’re pieces of Christmas rock candy! So pretty. I can’t wait until I can have my nails a little longer again. Which I don’t have pictures of, and I’ve already removed it… Damn. I’ll post them up later!
The lastest colour I tried is the green [Just Spotted The Lizard]. I read a review earlier this week about someone who was disappointed in the colour. Greens usually aren’t what I gravitate too, and I probably never would have bought this colour as a single bottle. I find that greens sometimes are too harsh with my skin tone. This colour… is interesting to say the least. Not really a “green” more of a gold. It’s nice to have a more metallic colour in my collection, but I don’t know how much I’m going to wear it.
I put [Number One Nemesis] on my toes this week, since it’s been awhile since I’ve done them. It’s a really pretty silvery colour, but like all of the shades in this collection they seem to have a hint of other colours. It’s contantly changing colour depending on the light. Sometimes it’s dark silver, other it’s a silvery-gold. I really like this one too. I’ll put it on the fingers next week.
