I’m currently wishing the my personal style was more boho-chic, so I want to just do something different with my hair. I’m too lazy to put any kind of style in it in the morning, and I’m definitely not talented enough, even if I took the time.
I’m one of those kinds of people that need perpetual change. It probably comes from the fact that my mom is a hairdresser, so I have always had access to whatever I wanted to do. And I’ve done it all. But right now I’m in a rut. I’ve done the hair long thing [which I kind of miss.. but not really]. I’ve done bangs, and don’t want to go back to them [apparently Andrew really liked when I had them… even though he didn’t really remember them]. I’ve coloured my hair [which I love] but that’s just not enough of a change for me.
Enter: The Perm.
2 words that immediately bring back images of ’80s style poufs, and poodle curls. But I’m determined to not have that outcome. Otherwise I will cry. I’ve wanted to do this ever since I read about it on the blog, From Me to You, how she got a perm, it’s been on my mind. And I did it. She had bigger rollers than I used, but now I’m thinking that I need to pick up a travel size sample of Bb’s Salt Spray. Because… That would make these even more awesome.
