Beauty :: L’Occitane en Provence Deodorant

Continuing on my hunt for a natural deodorant, I’m reviewing the L’Occitane en Provence.

First, did you know that L’Occitane made deodorant? I didn’t. I was perusing the Oakville store when I noticed that they had one. I decided to pick it up, even though it’s not the cheapest thing out there, and was a little iffy – just because L’Occitane can be quite strong smelling with the floral scent. What won me over though, was the lovely citrus scent.

While on the more pricey side (at $24 CDN), a little goes a long way. Although it’s in a solid form, when you roll it on it is rather wet, so you do need to give time for them to dry. I find that it works best if I wash my face, apply my toner, apply my deodorant, and then continue on with my routine.

I actually really enjoy this one. I find it best if I apply twice a day, morning and night (after my shower). Such a light, citrus scent, and not overpowering at all. I don’t know if I’d actually repurchase this, as it is quite costly, but it definitely last for at least 6 months with consistent use. Of course, this won’t stop you from sweating, and you might need to reapply if you are a heavier sweater/doing exercises/or going in water.

It’s definitely worth the buy if money is really no issue for you, but I think that I’m going to continue on my hunt for one that might be a little more affordable. Onwards!
