Yay! |
Yay, a Sephora order! I feel like I haven’t purchased any sort of new beauty stuff in awhile. But I’ve been moaning about not having a night cream, and really haven’t wanted to stick with Vichy’s night cream (it’s expensive…) so I decided that I really wanted to try something else. Sidenote: My Vichy skincare routine so far has been really great, as long as I keep up with washing regularly. Being under stress these past two weeks have done nothing to help either.
So, after Kate at GhostParties did a review about Dr. Jart+ Water Max Sleeping Mask, I knew that I wanted to try it. Reading reviews on Sephora’s website only clinched it for me. So while my local Sephora doesn’t seem to carry Dr. Jart+ products anymore, I decided that I would take the plunge and buy it online. Sephora has a great return policy so I knew that I was safe if I didn’t like it/made me break out.
It’s really nice packaging. |

And I’m also trying something else new with my face. And I guess, body regime. I bought the Palmer’s Cocoa Oil awhile ago, and used it but was truly overwhelmed with the scent of chocolate [who thought that was possible??] so put it on the back burner in my makeup closet. But just recently, I’ve broken it out again, and this time I’m not only using it on my body but also my face at night. I really want to try mixing it in with my regular body/face cream so that I get all the added bonuses of the oil as well as the moisture. I’ve yet to attempt, but I also don’t want to introduce a million things at once, otherwise I won’t know what works!
Just some random fillers to make the order free shipping. But things that I did need. |
So, right now I’m using my regular Vichy routine [wash, toner, and moisturizer] in the morning, and then at night the same routine, but instead of Vichy moisturizer, I’ll be using the Dr. Jart+ one. And I’ll continue using the Palmer’s oil on my body to see if I see any effects. I will definitely be updating in about a month on these things! [With the deadline, it means that I have to be way more diligent with my routines].
