Beauty :: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

Don’t you just love when things happen at the perfect time?

I’d just been thinking about picking out a new mascara, when my girl Amy signed us up for a contest – and we WON.

I’ve always been a fan of Benefit’s product lines, and while the last couple releases haven’t been a hit with me (I’m looking at you, They’re Real collection), but I have some forever rebuys (Gimme Brow, Boing) from their lines.

I was extremely excited to try this mascara out. It’s been awhile since I’ve used such a slim brush. I’ve been using one with a fluffier brush, and it always takes a little bit of adjustment to figure out how much is too much product and not to poke myself in the eye.

I do think that it’s a good mascara – but I don’t think that it rolls my lashes enough to not use a lash curler.

One good thing is that it comes off much easier than They’re Real mascara does, and I enjoy using this one for a daily mascara. Even if it doesn’t live up to its claims, it’s still an enjoyable mascara. I do think that I’m still partial to their original, Bad Gal lash mascara over anything new that they’ve released.

I find that lately Benefit’s newest releases haven’t really been up to snuff, or worth all the hype that the internet gives them. I find myself not being quite so brand loyal, especially since I’m trying to cut back on costs and they aren’t the cheapest brand around.
