Class starting. Thankfully (kinda) one of my classes was postponed until next week to start, and I’m kinda glad. I’m going to be so busy when they all start in full swing, not to mention riding once a week. At least with only one class this week it can ease me into it, and gives me a little more time to get another binder for my class. I’m trying to be more organized about this… Unlike last semester… I kept nothing organized, which is unlike me.
Ok, so I got called by the school to let me know that my class that was originally supposed to be at the Oakville campus was cancelled due to not enough people, so I could either move classes to a different day or change campuses. As I have another class on the Tuesday, I decided that moving campuses would be the more ideal situation. So from Oakville I headed to Brampton (Davis Campus) and O.M.G. What a crazy area that is. Not only is it ridiculously busy, it’s just so confusing. I had no idea where anything was, thank goodness I had one class in the building prior to this, otherwise I definitely would have been very, very lost. I had a hard enough time finding the bookstore..
Business math… is exactly how it sounds. It was interesting… Our teacher was late by almost 15 minutes, and it was interesting. I thought it wasn’t very good that he didn’t even apologize for being late… I’d been waiting there for more than an hour (I was early, which was good since I got lost and turned around so many times) but it’s just courtesy. Anyways, he was late, and there are about 10 other people in my class. The nice thing about being at an actual campus is that it’s a younger crowd, and I talked to this one girl, she’s nice. Helped me get to the bookstore as well. So, bought my book ($130 later) and head back to class.
A lot of review so far, which is good, and I remember quite a bit of it too (woot!). It’ll take some getting used to how the guy teaches, as it’s kinda backwards, but ah well. I’m doing well, just have some calculator issues that I need to deal with. It’s just all about how I enter the data into it. Bizarre. We worked on a chapter and some of the sections, did some of the questions, got assigned homework and then were released a full two hours early. So awesome. Hopefully we’ll get released early-ish most of the time… Staying from 6.30 – 10, ugh. Not looking forward to that.
