This experiment… I’ve only been off birth control for the length of 2 periods.. and I’m already having to throw in the towel. After this period, I’m headed back to birth control. It was good while it lasted.
It’s been an interesting almost 2 months. The one thing I’ve noticed is that my sex drive is back up and running. With a vengeance. Which is kind of a good thing to know. Hopefully when I go back on the pill it won’t completely disappear on me again.
The main reason I’m going back on is my skin. Break out city! And not just my face (even though it’s not as bad as it used to be, and I am maintaining a healthier regime of actually washing it) but my chest and back is starting to act up again. So not cool.
Plus a whole host of other unexciting, manly things are happening to me. I always knew that I had higher levels of testosterone anyways, so one of the kickbacks of not being on estrogen is I’m losing my boobs! So not cool. I finally got them, I don’t need them disappearing because I went off the pill.
So I have one more week (ish) off the pill. I have noticed that more guys are looking at me, but that might just be because I’m noticing now that I’m available. So all in all, this experiment draws inconclusive. Such a fail!
