Bath and Body, and regular Luxe Box

 So, this month the box came really, really late in the month. They were trying to make it so that everyone got their box at the same time, which in one aspect is great. But it really makes the waiting almost unbearable. Anyways, pleasant surprise to get not one but two boxes this month.

In the First Box: Bath and Body

I received a shampoo and conditioner sample from Frederic Fekkai Ultra Shine Olive Oil. I tried it that night, and won’t lie, my hair was pretty disgusting. It was so nice. Made my hair super clean and shiny, and I think it helped it stay less greasy buy the time I washed it 2 days later. Also used the razor, and I must say, I think they’ve made a convert outta me. I usually just use fairly cheap disposables, but this might just make me stop. Now that I have the handle… and a $4 off coupon for replacement blades… It made my legs feel so smooth, and stubble free for a couple days, which is amazing. Usually I can feel stubble almost immediately (sigh for having hair…) This, I can honestly say, did not disappoint.

Freebie bag of coffee that I gave to my parents as I don’t drink coffee. They said it was tasty. Seattle’s Best is a generally well known coffee brand.

This, was a freebie bonus. I don’t have curly hair, but I love it anyways. It’s so good to keep the frizz down, and it makes my hair shiny and straight. Even though I feel like that’s the opposite of what it’s supposed to do…

Nyx Lipstick and white Jumbo Eye Pencil. These… I wasn’t to fond of. I’m not a huge risk taker with my eyelids, and white definitely isn’t a colour one can wear with my skin tone. I look like death. Although, I’m willing to try this eye look from WonderForest, which actually uses this exact pencil. We shall see. The lipstick, is also to pale and shimmery for me, so I’m going to have to pass on these. Plus, not a fan of the taste… too floral. Yuck!

Also, got a MyScent baggie (something new they’re trying out) and also not to impressed. I don’t use a lot of perfume, and 2 of the scents they had already sent me. I already have a go-to perfume (if I attempt and remember to put it on) and so … these just went in the trash.

I still think that LuxeBox is a great idea, but as I’m starting to figure out what I want from make up and skin care, I think that this is just not what I need to be spending 13 dollars a month on stuff that I don’t use, or need. I’ll probably do one more month and then call it quits.
