So Sunday was the annual Christmas in February party at Equestrian Dreams in Campbellville. It’s always a good time, good food, good people, good conversation. It’s awesome to be able to meet and see people that one doesn’t see on a weekly lesson basis.
I got to talk to people that I’ve never met before, and actually see people outside of riding clothes. Which is nice, even though I don’t recognize some of them. Oops. You get to meet significant others, family members, even kids.
The baby kittens are adorable, and already spoken for. They’re so cute, and so much chubbier than Kumo was. At least Mom was able to see them before they went away! Totally could make me a crazy white cat lady. And they definitely would make me crazy! Could you imagine, three cats? All white, all possibly deaf? Oy vay.
There were some riding Pas de Deux to music demos, which I was originally supposed to be riding in, but not really to worried about not. Next year. I was perfectly content with being the aisle marshall and getting horses safely through the aisle to the arena. No accidents. Always good. Besides, it gave me ample time to watch, talk and eat. Even though I was almost talking to much to eat! Such good food.
