So, we’re winding down to the final legs of the semester, and I had my individual presentation last night in my communications class. Phew! So glad it’s over. Presenting is not my forte. But I powered through it, I totally didn’t prepare like I should have, but it’s alright. We were aiming for speed so in that aspect, I was amazing. I also won a scratch card from one of the other guys presenting. Highlight of the night.
We were able to have some time for team work (we stayed the longest to finish our bibliography off!) and it’s great to be able to say it’s DONE. Might just have some finishing touches, but the main part of it is good to go. It’s due next week, so better to stay later last night, than rushing to finish it this weekend.
I’m super pumped that math class is winding down, and that I’ll have a little tiny break in between my semesters, but comm goes right until the week before my next class starts. No breaks on Tuesday! Hard to believe that I’ve got 3(ish) more years of this!! Yup, I’ve decided to suck it up, and just get the whole diploma. Ideally, the degree would be great. But I don’t wanna spend that much time in school. A 2 year program being stretched out to 3 is enough for me. The joys of taking it part time. I’m not taking any breaks, I’m going to go solidly from Fall 2011 – Winter 2015. Ugggh seems so long! It’s crazy because I’ll be 26 by then. That’s seems really… far away, and really old to be in school still.
Please tell me I’m not insane. This is all for getting me further in life. This is all for the best. I can do this without cracking under pressure. I am excited for my courses though, I’m headed in the marketing direction (mainly because I’m staying far, far away from accounting). My timeline? Looks like this:

And then I’m done!!! I’m looking forward to the General Education ones, (the random online courses). But marketing seems rather appealing to me. Just looked it up, HR is another course entirely.
