So, Sunday I moved all in, and the rest of this week was spent either purchasing items that I’ll need [Monday night] or starting to settle my stuff all in [Tuesday night].
Monday was fun, I went out shopping with my mom and we had a laugh buying things that I’d need. Dishes, shower curtain, pots and pans, utensils. Everything one doesn’t think about when they’re at home because they just magically appear. I took the moment to also buy some stuff that I needed but didn’t have the energy to get my ass out to the store for. Like a cooking thermometer [for baking], and more bake sheets. It seems like I got a lot of stuff, and still have SO much space to put it all. I have a feeling that that will not be an issue later in life…
Last night I finished my communications course [hopefully with flying colours, I got a B in math class] and rushed off to bring all the shopping bags to the apartment. Mom and Coby came with me, and together we got the mojority of the living room sorted out! Just needs a couple more pieces, and a bigger rug and then I’m golden. Also have to see a chair that Andrew has and if I want it.
This has to be the most exciting part. I have internet and cable, and it’s better than what I have at home. I have almost all the furniture in and in place. I’ve made “rooms”. I just need to unpack, paint and get some finishing touches. I’ll take pictures tomorrow night *fingers crossed*.
