I kind of gave up doing the samples for the BB creams, just because every time I went into Sephora I:
- Couldn’t find anyone to help me out;
- They were all to busy; or
- Couldn’t even find the brand’s BB cream
I was in Walmart one day, and then saw the Garnier one and decided, spur of the moment, to pick it up. I figured that it was the cheapest out of all the brands [under $15], it wouldn’t be a huge deal if it didn’t work with my skin.
It looks like its too light for me, but it blends really nicely!
Luckily for me, it was. I really, really like this one. Much nicer than the Boscia one. Not sticky, I just pat a little mattifier powder on top to take away any shine, and I’m good to go. It does even out the skin tone as the day goes on, although I don’t notice it really helping with my skin in general. I’ve been really bad with taking care of my skin, so that might be part of the reason. I’m not 100% sold on this one, just because I like to keep my options open. And if there is one that actually takes away the dark spots, I’ll be even happier. But right now that I’m on a strict budget it’s perfect for the summer. Quite light, and good coverage. Although if you have actual zits, you’ll still need a concealer.
Definitely would recommend this, it has SPF 15, which is good. I’m happy with this one, makes my skin feel really nice!
On a side note… I’m not sure if this is reacting with the sunscreen I’m now using… So I’m taking a small break from using it.
