Friday :: Fashion & Other Things

I spent a lot of time in my car yesterday…

It’s almost the weekend!! I, for one, cannot wait. The one benefit of having a huge workload at work is that it makes the week just fly by! I can’t wait for my co-worker to come back. I’m slowly drowning in her work…

But it’s Friday, so no woes here! Andrew should be back sometime this weekend, original plans were for him to be home tomorrow, but he doesn’t think that will happen. Which of course sucks, but hopefully he’ll be home on Sunday. Sigh, it really sucks when you get an urge to do something and you can’t do it immediately because you have to go to work, or bed. That’s me and cleaning/organizing/starting any kind of project. I’m kind of a night owl. I need sleep, but I always feel the most creative at 11pm at night… Right when I should be heading to bed. But such is life.

All food things delicious… Look at those potatoes!! Om nom.
Tonight, I have some errands to run [baking supplies to pick up, grocery shopping, getting some runners…] and then I’m going to crack down and clean. I feel like I’m living in squalor [I’m not] but everything just needs a freshen up. I’m going to be handy and install some lights that my mom got me for over my stove, organize the spices that I have, and install my toilet paper holder. What, what! Go me, for being handy around the house.

Things I liked this week:
– This DIY for cases, but make it a little bigger and it’s an envelope clutch! via at Martha Stewart
– This gorgeous blog. Her artwork is fantastic! Found through Little Luck Tree
– I’m in desperate need for eye makeup remover that actually works… and if it’s cheaper, sign me up! Homemade, even better. Recipe from A Thrifty Mrs.
– Om nom! Who doesn’t love perogies?? I’m down for homemade ones via Hey Lady Grey
– This would be perfect for my balcony… yes?! Space saving, and pretty! via Eat.Live.Shop

Things to do:
– I’ve been looking into things to do around my neighbourhood, and can’t wait to try some of these things! Farmer’s Markets, movies in the park, and all the delicious sounding restaurants. Hello summer of exploring!
– I finally got some craft paint, so I’m going to get to those trays!
– Get back into my exercise groove… Fail week one.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
