Beautiful Cooking with The Heirloomed Kitchen

The Heirloomed Kitchen is a beautiful addition to my kitchen.

I love cookbooks and The Heirloomed Kitchen is stunning to thumb through. I have a few recipes flagged for a future dinner and the desserts look so good.

Sunday Night Dinner

I did make the pot roast for a Sunday dinner because I happened to have all the ingredients on hand. Simple yet delicious. It makes me laugh because I have a Dutch oven that I’ve had for YEARS and this is the first time I’m pulling it out in probably 7 years. It’s super easy to use with the gas stove though, so I’m excited to get more use from it.

My hope with this cookbook, and with all I do, is to pull from the past, to learn as much as I can, and to continue the story on for the next generation.

These Peanut Butter cookies look so yummy, they’re on my to-bake list. I need to figure out and make the time to make them.

I love the philosophy of handmade, “made from scratch” cooking. I generally make all the meals, but it’s the sweets and treats that I get a little behind on and never make, even though I baked a ton in my early twenties (I had even attempted to make a blog at one point).

Perfect For Every Occasion

This book is perfect for a dinner party, as you can have the mains, all the sides, desserts, plus a delicious cocktail to go alongside. Even just some of her sides are just easy tweaks but something to make you think, “I can do this next time” and it completely changes a dish.

Now I want to do a “made from scratch” dinner party!

About Ashley

I hadn’t heard about her or her brand before receiving The Heirloomed Kitchen, but I’m learning more about her! Her company, Heirloomed, is full of amazing and beautiful textiles. She curates a vintage feel to her designs with that classic Southern feel. Her book, brand, and her family are beautiful and inspiring.

You Need to Add Heirloomed Kitchen to Your Shelf

I’m so happy to add this to my cookbook collection, and I know it’ll fit right next to the Magnolia cookbooks. I’m apparently a Southern girl at heart!
