Shopping :: Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick

I’ve been kind of bad. I’ve been shopping a little crazily lately. It’s typically all things that I need so I’m not too worried about it, but I’ve been really on a lipstick craze.
This is the first lipstick that I’ve bought that isn’t a deeper purple-based colour. And that’s also under $25.00. My last lipstick that I bought I splurged and bought a purty Burberry one. I was feeling rich that day.
This lipstick is Rimmel’s Moisture Renew and it is exactly that. Moisturizing. I think that’s the best thing about this lipstick. It’s a pretty coral colour, but not so orange, more on the pink side. It’s definitely more of a spring/summer colour, but whatever, I’m totally going to rock this for fall. It’s great for colour that’s not so OMG-you’re wearing lipstick, especially when I’m at work. It’s got a good amount of sparkle to it.
The only downside to this lipstick is that it smells like lipstick. The old kind. It’s not too much of a deterrent, but with all that one can do nowadays, is it too hard to ask for a nice smelling lipstick? Apparently.
So if you dislike classic lipstick smell, then this isn’t the one for you. But they have a decent range of colours, I was tempted to buy way more, but refrained. They’re fairly cheap at $6 each.
I’ve always enjoyed Rimmel products, and I love that Kate Moss is/was the model for them. That might just be where marketing gets me, but it works! I don’t think that I’ll probably buy it again, as I’d like to try other brands. Have you tried any of Rimmel’s lipsticks?
