Shopping :: Vaughan Mills

Keeping in mind the fact that I just paid bills, and I have bills to pay, I’m trying to keep myself in check. Very tough to do in a mall, that has outlets coming out the yin-yang, and a super cute Japanese store.
But I managed it. I worked out how much I could afford to spend. And I stayed within that budget. And I made a list of all the things that I needed and walked away from the things that weren’t on that list.
For the most part, I succeeded. I hit up a couple stores, and managed to be really good in them. Especially in Forever 21, where one can go really crazy! I took a bunch of stuff into the change room, and everything fit. One thing Adele tried on, didn’t fit her, so I tried it on and it didn’t fit me either! So it went home with no one. It was a really cute sparkly peplum tank. Adorbs. Anyways, I was able to get lots of workout stuff (pants and tops) and some cute polka dot tops. One for work, one not for work. And a sweater for work.
I bought both these tops, and got the pictures from the Forever 21 website.
Ribbon Back Top – $18.80
I think the best part of the shopping trip was our foray into Juicy Couture. I rarely go into here, because honestly, velour tracksuits?? Not my thing. But Adele loves them, and so I went in there and looked at all the non-velour pieces of clothing. I ended up finding a pair of jeans and a top on the clearance rack. The jeans were awesome, but a size too small. The top fit awesomely, and is a perfect winter t-shirt. And for the price, I couldn’t go wrong. On clearance for $40, but an extra 30% off made my total come to $30 including taxes! Definitely well spent. it’s super cute. The jeans would have been the same price but they just didn’t have my size. Too bad, but it’s not like I need another pair of jeans.
At One’s [the Japanese store], I only bought another journal. They didn’t have any washi tape, so that going to be an online purchase… Unless I can find another store that sells it. They had some seriously cute bowls, and if they had the matching cup I would have scooped that up. But alas, they didn’t and I really didn’t NEED cat bowls… No matter how cute.

I’m completely satisfied with everything that I purchased. I just need a blouse. My go-to blouse is getting a bit tight?? So I’m going to need to get a newer one that fits properly. But that’s not hard to find.
