Ah Friday. You’re finally here, and it’s been a rough week. Getting up has been a struggle every morning with the temperatures as low as they are.
I think the heat in my apartment is broken. Excellent surprise to come home to last night at 10 pm. I’ll call my landlady today.. and hopefully it’s something that she can get fixed tomorrow [since I’ll actually be home], and then my feet won’t freeze! At least the heat in my bedroom was still working.
Tonight is the company work and family dinner for Christmas. Andrew and I will be heading for that, and I’m looking forward to it! We’ve been to the restaurant before and it’s delicious! It’s funny because one of Andrew’s friends is headed on a cross Canada trip for work [how awesome is that?], and so his girlfriend is throwing him a surprise going away party tonight. We can’t make it [for obvious reasons] and I don’t think we’ll even try to make it out for drinks. We’re both so dead from this week.
This weekend seems like it’s going to be another weekend of absolute nothingness. Maybe I’ll actually take more pictures. I have to buckle down and get some a lot of homework done. I want to get ahead in all of my subjects. I don’t necessarily have to post them all, but I want to scratch some things off my ever growing list of homework assignments. If I can get one essay done, and maybe even the case study done, and 2 discussions from each course… I think I’ll be happy. Nothing else to do. Other than grocery shopping. Oh and maybe a little baking, “early” Saturday morning.
