I finally saw it! And I really, really enjoyed it. Even though I dislike Daniel Craig as James Bond. He is not tall, dark, or handsome enough, in my eyes. But to each there own right?
This was the first one I’ve seen all the way through with him in it, and it was surprisingly good. The trailers definitely lived up to the “hype”. Javier Bardem is creepy as hell in this movie, and he really does creepy portrayals well.
As I was driving home, I realized that this was one that didn’t have a specific Bond Girl. They credit the gorgeous Berenice Marlohe with that title, but **Spoiler Alert** she dies, so that doesn’t really count. Doesn’t the Bond girl usually live longer than 30 minutes? I just did some research on it, and it’s the general consensus that the Bond girl can be bad or good, she just has to be the love interest. I see. I still don’t feel like she was a very good Bond girl. Or, I should say, the writer’s didn’t really do her justice. She is quite gorgeous.
