This movie… let’s be honest. It was terrible. It was lightly tied to the book [I’m currently reading it, so I know] and kind of ridiculous for that time period.
But it was entertaining, and it had some big names attached to it. Orlando Bloom, Milla Jovovich,Christoph Waltz (Before he was famous and won an Oscar). The main lead is from the Perks of Being a Wallflower, and is cute. Probably the main reason I watched it. Plus it’s humorous. And who doesn’t like a good laugh every now and then. Decent action (hello Milla Jovovich) as well.
Clearly now I know why it wasn’t really promoted at all, but it was worth the watch. In my eyes. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. I know that my brother would probably bemoan the fact that it’s a waste of his time, even though that’s all he has on his hands. [No bitterness there…]
