Just chillin’ |
It’s all about weddings around here, but they’re now done until the fall. Phew. They luckily didn’t cost us too much money as we didn’t incur any hotel costs, but still. It’ll be nice to have weekends back again to get cracking at homework.
I will be better at the online ones this semester. I feel like a broken record when it comes to school, but sometimes repeating it here helps me try to stay on track with in in real life. Anyone else like that?
This weekend was awesome. Even though I felt like I had barely any time with Andrew, we did actually spend most of the weekend together. I made a new friend at the wedding, finally met a friend’s girlfriend, and watched a great classic movie [Never Been Kissed].
Friday I didn’t go to yoga because I thought Andrew and I had a meeting right after work, turned out we didn’t. I got my computer set up for my accounting class, and watched both Legally Blondes, because I was in that kind of mood. Plus Luke Wilson is super cute. Went to bed a wee bit to late, and slept in a little to late on Saturday morning, which made me had to rush around a bit crazy before the wedding. We did make it on time, and had a blast.
Sunday was spent sleeping and watching Never Been Kissed, and not doing any homework. Then I headed to Andrew’s for a Mother’s Day meal, and helped Andrew out with his paperwork while the Leafs’ amazingly tied up the series, and head into Game 7. I’m not a hockey person, and I had no idea what was going on but I know enough to be seriously impressed just by the fact that they’re in the Playoffs this year. It has been 9 years for us, Leafs. I do hope that we do well, but I think that for Leaf fans, even just touching the Playoffs will be enough for us.
