Life :: Technology Dreaming

I’m getting to the point with my current technology, where I am just losing the love. With the change in school faculties, I might need to get an upgraded laptop. And honestly, I’d really love a new one. Something that’s not so damn heavy to be carting around school, and lasts longer than 30 minutes. While my mom thinks that I just need to do a hardcore clean up [which might be right], and I should probably do that anyways, I still want a new laptop.

Specifically, an Ultrabook. I want something fast and light. Andrew is pushing for me to get a Sony one, just because then it can sync with all of his technology that will hopefully be in my apartment soon [or the place that we live together]. Which is definitely tempting. Although, talking with some friends I hear that the Sony isn’t too good, and gets returned a lot. I’m probably going to take the leap and purchase a Macbook Air. And soon my phone contract will be up… *cough* another year *cough*, so I’ll be able to upgrade my phone. Because while I like my phone, it’s just so slow. And I want something new. I’m still beyond torn between iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S4, so we shall see what happens. Most days I lean towards the iPhone, but the Galaxy’s camera is soooo good.

Another piece of technology that I would love to have? A new camera. A light, but more powerful DSLR. It really annoyed me when I wanted to take decent pictures of Bruno Mars and couldn’t… Although if I get a decent phone camera, would I actually use a DSLR? Things to ponder!!

It’s just wants, wants, wants over here. So I guess that this is just one of many wishlists happening right now. Although, I can probably live vicariously through Andrew, since he just lost his phone. Go me?
