Toronto :: BlushPretty

A couple of weekends ago, I was invited to a preview of the wedding trends for this coming fall/winter by BlushPretty.

While I am not a wedding planner, and I’m not engaged, I still love knowing about trends, and I know some people who are planning on getting married this year. And, it’s always a nice way to spend an afternoon with like-minded beauty individuals, and learn more about other options that are out there. They had delicious macarons, you were able to meet with the artists behind the brand, and brides were able to get a feel for the place.

While wedding beauty, to me, doesn’t really everĀ change because most brides want their look to be timeless, so that they don’t cringe 20 years later or hide pictures of their great day, it’s still interesting to know what the trends are leaning towards for fall/winter.

Classic and simple look. I love long hair on brides!

The “Rockabilly” look. Nice as an updo, and keeps it out of your face!

I always said that I’d never get married in the winter, because COLD. But, I’m digging the darker lips that you can do! I think that I could compromise and do a fall wedding for sure, just to use some of these make up looks, while still not freezing my butt off! I think that I dig the hair down look the most, but as long as it’s off my face, I’d be happy.

I’m always a fan of the darker, plummy lip colours

The event was located at BlushPretty’s studio, at 777 Richmond Street West, and it’s such a nice studio. Easy access to parking (which is a huge plus), as well as easily accessed by public transportation. You can book an appointment for your wedding here! The ladies are all so welcoming, and so great, I would definitely recommend going here! What do you think of these looks?
