Life :: Personal Organizers?

Since it’s getting to that time of the year when organizers are getting low on months, and I love using the “old-school” method of writing everything down, it’s time to do the decision making process.

For the past 2 years, I’ve been using Erin Condren’s life planners, and I do love them but I felt like a little bit of a change was in order. Ever since I got the email that Kate Spade had arrived at Chapters.Indigo, I felt the urge to peruse her stationary. And would you look at that? 2014 agendas. Sadly, Chapters didn’t have the style that I liked, as neither the roses or the glasses spoke to me.

But then! Luck would have it that a Kate Spade survey dropped into my mailbox and the enticement of receiving a 25% off code to use online. Perfect! I went online and I scooped up the 2014 gold dot agenda. With the 25% off, it covered the shipping and taxes that happen when you need to ship to Canada [Kate Spade, have free shipping to Canada!] so I spent the same amount if I had purchased in store. It arrived a couple business days later, and I have to say, I’m in love. [In a random, nothing to do with organizers sid note, I also tried to purchase a pair of Keds for Kate Spade runners, and alas, they do not ship to Canada. Boo hoo.]

It is a gorgeous agenda, in a cream colour with a light pink inside. I love the way that it’s set up, and still has the full month calendar. And the quotes before each month? Kate Spade inspiration for every month. Because I’m a bit of a stationary nerd, I also found surprisingly, disposable fountain pens by Bic. Um, can I say amazing? So now I write everything in there with that, and it just gives my writing that little bit extra niceness. Love love love!

Do any of you use a old-school method, or are you all about the technology when it comes to remembering things?  Would you ever buy stationary by Kate Spade?
