Life :: Europe Bound

I’m so excited!! Andrew and I have made the decision to jump on a plane and travel the world together!

Alright, so it’s not exactly travelling the world, but for our major trip this year we are headed across the pond to Europe. We haven’t really planned anything out, other than maybe countries? We should probably get on that… Flights are going to be what kills us. We’re hoping to get this whole trip done under $3000 CDN, which might be tougher for me since I’ll want to shop a bit, but that’s not really the point of this trip is it? And going with Andrew does mean that while I walk by all the fancy shops, I don’t necessarily go into them. Which is probably good for my wallet. This trip is probably going to be our “big” one before we start having to deal with adult life – aka houses etc.

We are planning on hitting up: London, Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Munich. Not necessarily in that order. I’m impossibly excited for Paris. London and Amsterdam pull a close second, but there’s just something that I love about Paris. Although, I have never been there, but from everything that I read I’m not going to be disappointed. London, I think, pulls slightly ahead of Amsterdam just because of all the lovely bloggers that I read about are constantly giving me envy that I don’t live there! Amsterdam, I have family there so I’m looking forward to visiting them.

Is there anywhere that I desperately need to visit? Is there anything that I need to buy, and or eat while I’m abroad? I need to start pinning ideas and creative on there. We are “backpacking” it, so that should be an interesting twist in itself. I’ll need to figure out what I need to bring vs what I actually want to bring. That’s going to be difficult, I fear.
