It’s almost like I’m doing these all the time now!
Although, definitely got to slow it down. These bad boys add up! But they are just so much fun to do.
This time around, the ladies and I met up at the Park Hyatt for tea service. I love how every tea is slightly different in what they offer for nibbles and tea selections. Maybe the next time I’ll branch out and not get a black tea.
The Park Hyatt had a nice layout, and the staff was extremely friendly. A good selection of tea, but it was hard to choose just from a description. I chose a basic black tea, pretty much an English Breakfast tea. It was good, although I find that my tea gets too cool to fast! It also was a loose leaf tea, but the strainers didn’t really do a great job, so you did have some leaves floating in your tea.
The nibbles were delicious, although harder to eat than at the Ritz. I actually didn’t finish everything on my plate because I wasn’t such a fan, and I decided to save myself for the cake portion. Even not finishing everything, I was still bringing home the majority of the treats in a takeaway.
Overall, it was good. It wasn’t anything to rave about though, especially having something to compare it too. For the price ($39.00+tax/tip), I think that there are definitely better places to try. I left to many things uneaten, unlike at the Ritz.
