Takin’ My Time

It’s the weekend again! Now I’m not going to say that this weekend will be amazing, like I did last week (because we all saw how that turned out) but I will say this. At least I’m going to be busy. I’m hoping to try and see SuckerPunch again tonight, worst case scenario I’ll have to go by my lonesome. Which is pretty cool, but kinda sucks because it’s going to be awesome and I’ll want to talk about it to someone. Anyone. Lol. But regardless, I’m not adverse to doing it by myself.

Tomorrow I want to get some shopping done. Downtown! I wanna find a dress. The perfect summer shift dress. That will match with any summer shoe I throw at it. I want to buy my watch, and possibly some more bracelets. Which means that I need to do some budgeting tonight as well. I can feel myself wanting to go on a crazy spending spree. I have to curb that one.

So. Weekend over. Back to the daily grind. Looking back on what I wrote above, so much went according to plan, and yet some didn’t. So let’s recap, shall we.

Friday! Everyone loves Friday. I rejoined PlentyOfFish just to kind of re-meet some new people. I randomly join this site every couple of years, and only stay on for a couple of days, 1 week max. I’m already starting to get bored with it. It’s a great ego boost though, I do have to say. I got so many messages, some from creepers, others from seemingly decent guys. Of course, not interested in anything, unlike them. I said it straight up too. I’m not looking for a relationship, just want to meet new people. Network. I’m not even looking for sex. (Unlike some of the guys on there…) I met a couple of guys (online only) but I’m not to sure, the oldest one is 34. He seems cool but I’m worried about the level of cling. Hah, they all seem to be looking for something more serious. I met on really cool guy on there, and we seem to really have quite a bit in common. The only thing was that there was nothing there, no feeling (for me anyways). It was nice to meet him though, and he seems chill enough. But can’t help what I don’t feel. My SuckerPunch plans got cancelled for the Friday, my buddy fell through on me (damn boys and their needed to work late!) So I ended up talking online for like ever. Pretty crazy, I had fun even if I didn’t go out.

Saturday was amazing. I had SO much fun. I didn’t get to go downtown because a) I woke up a little late b) the plans slightly changed for the night time so it wouldn’t have worked out anyways and c) the weather was COMPLETE crap. So did not feel like walking around Toronto in a rainstorm. So I stayed in and talked online and got ready for that night. I was so bad with my timing though, I had to rush through painting my nails (so didn’t do a good job) and getting ready. I’m usually pretty bang on with timing. But I was just rushing everything. Ended up that I had a couple minutes to spare but not really. I was still feeling good though! Kat picked me up and then we picked up Shin and headed to Jon’s house for pre-drink. We didn’t stay very long because we wanted to get to Guu early to get a table (which we still had to wait a couple hours anyways, but this time we waited at a bar). We put our names down and pretty much it was perfect timing because we had just sat down in Guu and they were clearing the rest of our table when the guys arrived. Always fun times at Guu, drinks are sooo good, and the food… mmm!! So yum. We stayed until Guu closed and then headed to Velvet Underground and danced! It was so much fun. I love dancing. I need to go out dancing more. It just makes me so happy! I seemed to have all the drunk girls fall around me though. It was a little excessive. I had one really short girl bounce into me (I didn’t even see her.. haha) and then 3 other girls fall into my legs. Don’t know what was up with that night. Had one creeper but he was easy to handle, I just said no and it helped that I was with other guys. Who are tall. >.< Yay for tall boys! I danced so much, but there was a little bit of drama by the end of the night. Hopefully it’s all been cleared up though!

This post has taken me forever to get up! I’ve been super busy, and just swamped with work and other things. There’s still more, but I’ll get this one up now!!
