Life :: Party Planning – Housewarming
Yes, I haven’t moved yet, haven’t really done anything other than stress about the little things, but I am planning a kick-ass housewarming.
Even though the party will not be at the new house that we’re moving into, and at Andrew’s parents house, it’ll still be amazing. At least I hope it will.
I want to be a great hostess, and hopefully have a place where I can actually host decent parties. So on my list of party planning, because this will be a housewarming/Canada Day party, will mainly be food and drink. I want to have a signature drink, and possibly a signature food. It’s summer so the food will be on all grilled up on the bbq. MM I’m getting excited just thinking about it!

I think this time, we’ll make the effort to bring the party to the backyard, set up some tables and benches, throw some tablecloths down and voila! Instant backyard party. Perhaps make it into a potluck of some sort, with everyone chipping in to cut down on costs? Create a signature drink for the occasion, along with beer, and I think that sounds fabulous. I think it’s time to start Pinteresting!
