I feel like life’s purpose is to lead a life lived well.
We all want to live a life where when we’re old and looking back, we have no regrets about something we did or didn’t do. How did we spend our time? Who did we spend our time with? As we all know, time is a finite resource for us humans.
Dr. Jeremy Zoch’s book, ‘Life Lived Well’, is a fascinating glimpse into his life and mindset. He’s an inspiring person, with his achievements. Becoming a Dr, running a hospital. Running marathons (that isn’t for me). Having a beautiful family and keeping them centred while completing all these achievements.
He has 40 exercises throughout the book and they’re in-depth. The exercise itself might seem easy, but he asks follow-up questions to make you dig deep and figure things out. I’m very excited to dig into these as well. Figuring out what makes you “tick” is key to knowing if you are even on the right path in life.
This is your opportunity to focus on what’s important to you, prioritizing your resources, making the best of this year, and setting yourself up for your best life. Vibrant, energetic, passionate, present, purposeful, and whole — a life lived well!

Break It Down
He breaks down the sections into health, relationships, passion, and goals. He has other chapters with their own exercises but I think that these are always going to be the important ones.
I liked that the relationship chapter was about ALL types of relationships. Friends, work, and personal, including romantic and family. Family and platonic relationships are the founding blocks of HOW we even learn to interact with other people, well before we start thinking romantically.
I can confidently say today that meditation practices transcend all faiths and can be a powerful way to help increase your spirituality, body, mind, and relationships with people through a more active presence.

The philosophy of family-centered children is that they are part of the family, and family is what is most important.
