Happy Thanksgiving | Lifestyle

I hope that you are spending time with your family (or whoever makes you happiest) and enjoying the holiday!! 

We celebrated Thanksgiving last night, and I hosted it for the first time. At our house. With both sides of the family. And it went well! Everything was cooked and tasted good and wasn’t crazy late. 

Actually, shocking for me, it was ready early!? Who am I?? I won’t lie, that was a nice change. It didn’t go exactly according to plan, but the small adjustments made the whole thing run smoother. Big thumbs up for that!

I’m already planning the next party for the holidays, and I can’t wait. I truly enjoy cooking for large quantities of people. I love this time of year.  Even though it means that summer is over and the colder weather is on its way, I love spending time with family and eating the big hearty meals. 

Now I’m spending my holiday Monday relaxing in my clean house, reading and organizing my second bedroom. Also hoping that my basement might get worked on a bit before the next party? Is that too much to hope for?
