You can really feel that it’s a short work week, because it’s already Friday. This one hopefully will make up for last week, since I didn’t have any links, and was rushing around like a chicken with my head cut off. Not fun.
This weekend though, I’m going to be semi-slowing down. Hopefully having a little bit of a sleep in, going to look at some paint colours [even though Andrew is trying to convince me to not…], and doing some major cleaning/cooking. Laundry as well. This will be my first time using the laundry room in my building. Wish me luck! Ooh I might even try my hand at attempting those DIY projects that need to be done.

I’ve been really getting back into some of the sites that I’ve been slacking with [lookin’ at you, Pinterest & Tumblr…] and it gets me really excited to start looking for inspiration for DIY, things for my apartment, and my future. I still have 240 blog posts that I need to catch up on, and they always have some goodies about everything!

Fashionly speaking, this weekend was meh. Hah, this weekend was spent in a bathing suit, with some coverups, I bought a couple new things, but as I didn’t take any pictures at the cottage, these will have to do. Sometimes, I really love Walmart. You can’t go wrong for the prices! As I was rushing through the store last Thursday night, arms full of stuff, I just looked down at myself and thought, “No one would ever guess that I was going away this weekend..” It doesn’t get anymore cottage-y than these purchases! I just need a sun hat… and another pair of sandals.
