This was a little bit of a splurge buy while I was down in the States a couple weekends ago. I definitely wasn’t planning on buying more nail polish, but when we were in Walmart and I just happened to browse the beauty section… And literally lunged on these. Thank goodness no one else was in the aisle because I might have had a tiny freak out deciding on which colours I wanted. And the price. They are $1 cheaper in the US than they are here, which might not be a lot, but that adds up quick!
I tried to choose colours that I’d never seen in Canadian stores, and I was immediately drawn to this bright coral. I love a good coral colour, and I think the one that I currently have is getting a little old. It’s so fresh and bright, that just looking down at my nails makes me feel happier and ready for spring. And after this polar vortex business, I’m just about ready for the spring-like feeling.
This blue is actually found in Canada, but for the price I couldn’t say no. And it looks so much darker in the bottle than when it’s on your nail. I was a little shocked, and then really excited for how electric this blue is. This will be a fun colour to play with. In this picture, you can actually see the shape of the brush better, and I have to say, that’s one of the main selling points for me. It fits the nail bed really nicely, and makes application a breeze.
