So, because things happened a lot faster than I expected, I can actually test out my experiment. I won’t say theory, because it’s not mine originally. I have gone off birth control because a) I’ve been on it straight for 4 years almost 5; b) I’m clearly not getting any anymore; and c) I don’t know if I need it for my skin anymore either. So this is a test of a whole bunch of things:
1. Will my taste in guys differ?
2. Will guys interest in me change?
3. Will I suddenly gain weight?
4. Will my face and skin have a massive attack of blemishes?
But right now my body is currently hating me because of change of hormones that it was used to getting regularly, it now has to do without and it’s giving me a big F*CK YOU. Joyous. But should be exciting to see what happens once my body realizes what it’s supposed to be doing.
Very liberating. I don’t have to worry about missing one. I don’t have to worry about anything. No more sex, no more missed pills, no chance of babies. Just the way I like it.
