I cannot believe that it’s already June. Summer has come with a vengence, and I’m loving it. So hot, and I’m loving the fact that I can wear skirts and dresses every day. I’m addicted to them. Floaty materials, summery colours, it’s just amazing.
H&M has been a close friend of mine lately, I’ve found such great stuff the last couple times I’ve been. Sometimes, it’s hit or miss there. Just like Winners. My favourite location? The one right by Andrew’s house [so dangerous]. It started with the finding of those dresses [even if I didn’t keep them], and just kept going. I was in there, and saw that they had more Bliss products. I refrained from buying because I really want to use up the old stuff first… even if it’s not doing anything for my skin.
I finally remembered to get my ass out and buy a hair dryer this week. The one that I took from Mom finally gave out, and only blew cold air. Also, it seemed to glow weirdly, so I was afraid it would one day set my hair on fire… or completely suck it into the fan. Awkward. So I bought a new one, a bright colourful one from Walmart by Revlon. It looks pretty fancy.
This weekend… not very exciting so far. Other than cleaning like a mofo again, I don’t have any laundry to do. Still have to call the landlady to get her to give me a card for the laundry room. Or figure out what to do there. Although taking it to the laundromat isn’t really a huge deal, it would be nice to dry my clothes in my own building. Without having to haul it up and down stairs.
Anyways, I’m glad that this weekend I’ll once again be at home. Maybe I can stop spending money like it’s going outta style…
Things I liked this week:
– A DIY tray… something that I’m in desperate need of, but not willing to spend millions on! via Olivia Palermo
– This delicious cake with strawberries… I smell dessert one summer night! via Joy The Baker
– Some inspiration via The Lovely Fox
– I confess, I love these rules for the bedroom via Cupcakes and Cashmere
I love how as I write this, there is totally a guy from the other building bbq-ing on the lawn. Guess they’re not allowed to have them on their balconies like I can!
