Add the Popular Bundles From Lavigne Naturals to Your Routine

Look at me, obsessed with a new skincare line

Like all things in my life, this was an impulse buy. A recommendation from a friend who had tried Lavigne Naturals and had nothing but good things to say about them. So when I went to their site and saw they were having a little sale, I thought, why not!?

I was looking for a new cleanser since I didn’t find that tallow soap strong enough for my skin. So it was just somewhat serendipitous.

Lavigne Naturals is a Canadian, women-owned company. They use Tepezcohuite (pronounced ‘tep-ez-co-heety’).

I’m a huge fan of companies that bundle their products, so I splurged a little and grabbed two sets.

Bundle One – Balm and Scalp

If you’ve read my blog at any time, you’ll know that my scalp is a CONSTANT struggle for me. I’m always looking for the next best thing to help soothe and keep it from getting irritated. So of course you know I’m adding the Scalp Therapy spray to my cart. My friend also really said good things about the Mayan Magic balm, so it was truly convenient that it was in a bundle!

Mayan Magic Balm

I’ve been mixing this with my tallow cream because I find it a little thick for a full-body application. But, I used it on a little bit of a sunburn I had (when I had nothing else) and it helped calm the redness immediately! It also helps make both creams last longer since I’m not using as much.

Scalp Therapy

This product is amazing. I should update you about the hair products I switched to, but my scalp has never been so good since I started my latest routine. It also does work at making my hair feel and look super soft. I already re-purchased this item in the larger format. I had about a 2-week period in which I had run out and was waiting for the new bottle to arrive and I did notice a change in my hair. Not as smooth or shiny, and I felt like my skin was irritated more. Not enough to have a huge eczema flare-up, but I could tell that the potential was there.

Bundle Two – Healthy Glow Kit

Botanical Cleanser (4oz)

I love this cleanser – I’ve already repurchased this in a bigger size. It’s a gentle feeling, but it’s still effective in controlling breakouts. I also use this on my body when I do get breakouts. I love the way it makes my skin feel. I use it in tandem with the facial polish at least a couple of days a week, or if my skin feels dull.

Illuminating Facial Polish (2oz)

On the website, they describe this as a “mildly exfoliating rice powder and naturally occurring papain enzyme polish”. I don’t know if my skin is more sensitive (which could be my skin issues) but I find it to be slightly more than “mild”. I find it quite gritty and don’t like to use it alone. I’ll squirt some of the cleanser on my fingers and shake out some of the powder to mix on my skin. I find this helps it glide over my face easier and feels a little less abrasive. I will say that it’s mild enough to use it once a day and not feel drying or stripping to my skin. I don’t use as much as a little goes a long way, but it will be a repurchase for me when I need it!

Clear Magic Facial Spray (4oz size)

Containing pure, Himalayan Salt crystals, this toner is wonderful. I am a huge toner user. Hah, that feels weird to write out. My skin has always felt better if I can apply some kind of toner to my skin before applying serums or creams. It’s probably the one step in a routine that I can’t skip – it just works for me. I quite like this one, and I’ve recently discovered that I enjoy spraying it directly on my face instead of applying it with a cotton pad. It makes my skin feel refreshed!

Vitamin C Serum (1oz)

I’m not 100% sold on Vitamin C in general (which might just be a mind-over-matter thing). I do think that this works, my skin feels like it’s instantly brighter when I use it. I do think I overused it, and it caused a little bit of an eczema flare-up (was probably just too strong for morning and night use when I ran out of the face oil). I don’t know if I’d repurchase this, but I am willing and interested in trying out their newer Vitamin C product, Vitamin C Tri-Active Serum, instead before I decide whether I need to add this permanently to my routine.

Liminal Resilience Face Oil (1oz)

I have repurchased this in the larger size. My skin feels so smooth in the morning. I use 5 drops on my face (1 on forehead, 2 on each cheek) and it’s the perfect way to get that facial massage and gua sha in. I’ll put this on and let it really soak in before applying any cream to my face. I only use this at night and do a full neck and face massage every time. So relaxing right before bed!

Tepezco-BB Luminessence Creme (1oz)

As soon as I saw that they had a tinted moisturizer, you know I had to try it out. I don’t wear makeup every day, and this has a bit more of a scent than I expected but it’s almost a bit spicy? I don’t know if that’s the right word but it works for me. I believe that it’s the star anise that gives it that smell, but I like it. And I love the idea that my makeup is working with my skin instead of against it. I like that it’s very light coverage, but just seems to smooth out my skin. With a little bit of powder on top, it’s the perfect everyday look.

This post has taken me so long to write…

… I’ve already repurchased and am able to give a full in-depth review of how it’s affected my skin. I love this brand, their customer service has been excellent when I’ve needed to ask a question or fix an order. Overall, no complaints about purchasing or using their products.

Let me know if you do try them out!
