Who doesn’t love candles, especially supporting locals?
This has taken me way too long to write, but I’m getting to it!! I learned about the Jones Lounge before Christmas at the Streetsville Holiday Fair. We were there to see Santa with the kids and I had no idea what it all entailed. I didn’t realize there would be vendors so I brought no money, probably for the better because of… wallet. But it started an obsession with the Jones Lounge’s entire candle vibe.
The Jones Lounge Candle Co. is full of all the good things.
It’s local (GTA) Canadian and woman-owned. Amanda, the owner, is the absolute sweetest to talk to. She’s so passionate about her products, you can’t help but love them too.
Her candles smell amazing. They’re probably the most unique scent names I’ve seen in a while. I’m pretty basic when it comes to candle scents, give me a Vanilla based candle any day. But her Morning Sips? Delicious. It smells so warm and is perfect for Fall. Pj’s Until Noon is cereal scented, and it really smells like Fruit Loops!! I love it and have it in the bathroom right now.
I purchased all of these as the 2022 Christmas gift for everyone I know. The scents I chose from her Signature Collection (currently available online) were:
Morning Sips
Coffee beans, maple, coconut, and butter. As I said above. Perfect for Fall, and such a warm, inviting scent for your home!
Gin After Dark
I honestly didn’t expect to like this one as much as I did. With the notes of pine, juniper, eucalyptus, and wood, I thought it would be more overwhelming but it’s really quite refreshing. And, definitely reminiscent of gin.
Pj’s Until Noon
A sweet, fruity candle. I love it, but I do find the scent strong with this one so can’t have it burning as long as I would other more neutral scents. The main scents are citrus, cherry, and vanilla, which is a surprisingly Fruit Loops-scented aroma.
Closed on Sunday
Now, I’m not a lavender lover in literally anything. I find it overwhelming but I knew that this one would be perfect for Briana. With the lavender, eucalyptus, and florals it was definitely right up her alley. It was too floral-scented for me, but it’s definitely nice.

Vanilla Bean Patisserie
What can I say, I can never walk away from a vanilla candle. I’ll accept the basic bitch title.
When I say working with the Jones Lounge owner, Amanda, was a breeze, I totally mean it.
I messaged her on Instagram asking if and when she would be doing another pop-up before Christmas. She was doing a ton! But most of them were going to be while Andrew and I were in Mexico. Except, one Saturday she was doing a pop-up at Erin Mills Town Centre.
Serendipitous! My mom used to work there on the weekends. I messaged her asking if she would be willing to put aside an order for pick up and she was so accommodating.
I gave her the quantities, the sizes, and the scents, and I asked for the little safety match jars too. She awesomely threw those in for me as extras! I told her that it would be my mom picking them up and she had no issue with that.
Of course, I wasn’t able to see the package until I got home but it was perfectly packed and there was nothing incorrect about my order.
I love it when I can get all my Christmas shopping done in one place and support locals at the same time.
I have zero complaints about anything regarding my order. I 100% recommend ordering from her, following her on her socials (Instagram // TikTok), and checking her out at her next pop-up location.
