November ‘Enemies to Lovers’ FairyLoot | Stationery

Who doesn’t love a good Enemies to Lovers trope?

Enemies to Lovers

I do! I mean, it’s just such a great theme with so much potential in a book. Am I a sucker for it? Yes.

This box had items inspired by the Cruel Prince series, Serpent & Dove, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and A Song of Wraith and Ruin. I liked a lot of the items from this box, but most of it weren’t things I’d normally gravitate towards.

I love a new tote bag so I think this item is the winner of the box for me. Featuring art with Jude and Cardan from The Cruel Prince, it just looks amazing. The bag hanger was nice too, although due to Covid, it’s not like we’re going out anywhere. It is a cute design though!

The scarf is stunning; such a pretty green! It features a quote from Shatter Me. The literary scrunchie is actually pretty cute and I’m looking forward to when my hair is a bit longer and able to “put up” properly. It’ll look cute outside in the summertime.

The bookmarks are super nice. They feature the main characters from Serpent & Dove, ACOTAR, Iron Fey series, and These Violent Delights. One side features the ladies, and the reverse is the men. I like the little phone cleaner but it’s an item that I’ll never remember to use…

The November ‘Enemies to Lovers’ themed book was These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong.

A monster has awakened in 1920s Shanghai, killing off citizens and stirring trouble between two feuding gangs. The rival heirs, Roma Montagov and Juliette Cai, must work together before the monster destroys all they hold dear, even while the Chinese Civil War breaks out around them.

From Goodreads

I love that this is set in Shanghai in the ’20s!

I haven’t actually finished this one, so I’ll update with my review when I do, but I’ve started it and I’m enjoying it so far! It also has some more tropes I never thought I’d like but recently got into: Mafia/Mob, enemies to lovers, 1920s’, Asian lead female… It’s got my vote!

What’s your favourite thing about this box?
