MUJI Haul | Stationery

The Japanese company, MUJI isn’t anything new to the Internet.

Go on Tumblr and you’ll see millions of gorgeous flat lays with MUJI products. I knew that Toronto had a flagship store, but going downtown isn’t something I do regularly. But, when I was doing some investigating, I found out that they had just opened a store in Square One, the local mall in Mississauga.

I could not contain my excitement. I pretty much raced there after work, under the guise of running other errands, and was in heaven.

The one thing that the Inter-world doesn’t mention are prices (especially since I’m in Canada) but the stationary is CHEAP! Much cheaper than I expected it to be. I definitely will be going there as my go-to stationary shop from now on. I tried not to go too crazy, and only purchased things that I really needed.

I need to go back and play around with their stamp station, so I can title all of my notebooks now. I also need to get more 0.5mm pens. I like the 0.7, but the 0.5 writes much nicer. Plus, I got one of the highlighters that have the clear centres. No peer pressure there. But no complaints – it runs nicely, and it is convenient to know when to stop.

They also have a great assortment of other household items, a little bit of beauty, and clothing. I didn’t really look too deeply into the clothing, but it might be something I check out further the next time I head there. It’s all linen and unisex, which is definitely intriguing to me. And they have a lash curler that looks really nice and wasn’t crazy expensive.

Yes, I am officially a MUJI convert.

No, there wasn’t really any huge push to get me there. I can’t wait to go back already. Now I just need to sit down and actually get to study all the languages I want to learn.

Have you bought anything from MUJI?
